| 3 | I received your letter to day. thanking you for writing to me. It has been for the past five years as that Gentleman told you, that Mr Tucker has not shown good judgment in his business, it has been a general going down hill, till I feel that we had now got to the foot of the ladder. but hope on hope ever & trust in the Dear Lord. You said you did not think best for him to come home as yet. I do not either, for from his letters I cannot see as he is much changed but think in time and with the treatment he gets there at your hands he will be all right, but do not think best for him to come till you think he is perfectly all in his mind. | |
