Browse Topics displays records that have been sorted by subject sub-heading and then clustered hierarchically according to the headings below. Sometimes a sub-heading such as Education might include a record that is governed hierarchically by the topic heading Social Movements and Advocacy while at other times an Education record will appear under a Government or Policy heading. The difference in placement is a matter of the emphasis found in the primary source and the cataloger’s judgment.
