Excerpt from: The Undeveloped Resource At The Edge Of Change Mental Retardation is a problem in which we are faced in this country with a very sad situation -- a situation which really is a disgrace to our country. But, at the same time, let me say that I have told the Swedes and the Danes that in a few years they are going to come to us to learn. In a few years they will see that when we really apply ourselves and free ourselves of the shackles of the past; we will do things out of technical know-how and also out of our strength of conviction and our way of life, that will make them jealous.
